Can I book an assessment if the employee has had long term issues?

The Assessment can be carried out even if you have existing concerns or ongoing issues with an employee.  Our Assessor is HR trained and CIPD qualified with experience of carrying out many of these assessments.

When will I get the results of the Assessment?

HWA will provide results of the ‘Wellbeing Assessments’ within 24 hours of the assessment.  This will include a detailed report for each employee, with an overview/recommendations for the employer

The employee has been off sick long term with a bad back - is this assessment suitable?

Yes, completing the Homeworking Wellbeing Assessment can address any workstation issues that may be contributing to the sickness absence.

The NHS confederation declared that in 2019 Musculoskeletal disorders including back pain, neck or arm strains was one of the most common reasons for sickness absence, accounting for 40% of absences in which many led to long term absence.  Musculoskeletal disorders may be caused by work related injuries such as not having equipment in the workplace personally adjusted and state that prevention and early intervention is key to effectively managing musculoskeletal disorders.
